About us

At the very entrance to the marvelous Morača canyon, far enough from the city crowds and noise, 6 km from the center of Podgorica, there is Hostel “Izvor”, a family establishment with 20 years tradition.

Positioned 6 km from the city center and only 1 km from Podgorica – Kolašin highway loop, which enables guests to quickly connect to it if they plan to travel to the northern part of Montenegro or continue their journey towards the sea.

Hostel Izvor has 21 accommodation units at its disposal and a total capacity of 90 beds, namely:

Standard economy rooms with private bathrooms
Hostel accommodation (rooms with shared bathrooms)

Our guests are provided with a large parking lot (free of charge), covered by video surveillance, for which no reservation is necessary, as well as the possibility of organizing all three meals in our restaurants.

What we would like to emphasize as an advantage of staying in our hostel are the favorable prices of accommodation in completely renovated rooms, a large free parking lot, flexible check-in/check-out times without any additional costs, an ideal position for going on daily tours to the most visited tourist attractions in Montenegro located at just one hour’s drive from our hostel, as well as and an authentic natural setting on the banks of the Morača River surrounded by mountain peaks.
